Going pretty well so far, I got the core out. It's actually not _THAT_ hard to get to. It's to the right of the driver's right foot, you have to remove the panelling and some ducting, but it's right there.
I plan to put a micro-switch on the heat/cold bypass flapper-door that closes mid-way, put it in series with the fan control. I'll drill a whole in the climate panel for a red 12v LED that will iluminate whenever the solid state relay (G3NA-D210B rated for DC) is energizing the ceramic element from the pack. I'll also need 15A fuse.
