Hello mr ******* Martian
I was just trying to pass on a big saving to our uk members.
It may be better to pop over to the states on an economy ticket, buy it , bring it back, and laugh at a wasted saving of $16 .
But hey, nice folk like you will always be able to shoot down nice offers innocently offered.
Tell you what, if I get 50% back of what I paid for the pump I will pay twice that to Ukrainian funds.
Feel free to tell everyone to be tight.
I don’t understand why people make such an effort to be a s.

Ya know, I withdraw the sale unless Martian offers me full price, then he can have the pump and I will pay twice that to the Ukrainian fund. Then he can sell it for what it is worth and keep the money himself.

"Bit of a bargain" has now apparently flipped to being "bit of a charity."

Us grownups are able to donate money directly to good causes, by the way.

Good luck with your sale.

Dear grownup,
stop having a pop at others, make me a fair offer and I will double it for Ukraine, thus a bargain is a charity and it gives you the opportunity to put your money where your mouth is.
Then you can have the item, you can feel smug that you took others, like me, down a notch, and lord it over me that you donated your money to a good cause.
It has been fun sparring with you, but I really think you have misunderstood me, I thought I was selling a quality item to like minded folk at a loss to myself. I did not expect your reaction.
Perhaps next time something like this happens, you could perhaps point out to the vendor that they are have been misled a little more sympathetically.
All proceeds from the sale will go directly to a good cause just as if I were a grown up like you.
Thank you for wishing me good luck.

ps these pumps are on offer in the UK at £242.
That is with the relay, check valve, wiring, bracket and switch etc.
Much as I would like to buy a bare bodied general motors equivalent from a real helpful benevolent grown up, for less, on a different continent, I will pass.

UK merchants and the UK taxman have been ripping off UK commoners forever.

Not saying your local pricing isn't competitive, but there are global shipping choices now that we just didn't have even as recently as the 90's. That should be pushing prices down in the UK, but for some reason, it isn't. Yet other things, like machine shop tooling, are cheap...it's inconsistent.

You can buy a Leaf traction motor in the US for the price of two UK vacuum pumps, to put it in perspective. Of course, you have to wait for a foreign-procured good to arrive, unlike the prompt deliveries you get from her majesty's postal service.

Seriously, good luck selling it. Someone will buy it for God, Queen, and Country, at least.

ftr, that's not my listing
