Broken Guantuo BMS VT module - replacement?

2269 Views 6 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  hcf
Hi,

We have a three-year old Guantuo Power BMS on our battery, and now one of the VT modules is broken. The supplier we got it from originally does not offer the system any more let alone replacement parts :(.

The broken module is a GTBMS005E-VT voltage module for the GTBMS005A series of BMS.

Would you have any suggestion as where to get a replacement part?

Thank you in advance!

What is broken? Take some pictures.

If you can't get parts from the manufacturer perhaps you would consider ditching the BMS entirely. Depending on the type of battery and utilization you might not need one at all. For example LiFe based cells get along just fine without any special management.

We need just one but we would order three, just to have some spares. They have to be sent to the Netherlands, Europe.

I had our engineer open our battery case and it seems the module we need is a bit different, it is a GTBMS005E-VT.

Do you know where this part can be ordered?

In case the part itself is unobtainable, is it possible to obtain the schematics for it?
