Building a 1974 ac-35 based mg midget.

Caucasian male, 42 loves long walks on beach. Ok got that out of the way. Building a ac-35 144v Midget. Not looking to build a car to break the electric land speed record, rather then build a car close to original specs. I'e slow but reliable. Currently buying remainder of components. Any battery or other suggestions would be appreciate as this is my first build. I work in controls and commercial hvac-r but by no means an electrical genius, Mostly three phase RTU's. Look forward to chatting with some of you gents and learning.
