Good to know, thanks Remy! I may try and mount it back on the motor in that case. Is there any guidance for max distance it can be away?

My understanding from Nagoya University's Youtube teardown is that there may be two inverter heights if you're pressed for a couple of mm of clearance, with the later model being fewer "layers" of circuitry inside. Not sure what year it changed.
