Ive got the opportunity to buy 2 of these, they seem a bit old and big but voltage good.

Im looking to convert a mazda6 wagon (2.5l) would one work?

Interesting, but rather large for a 3hp motor. At 220V and 1000-1500 RPM, it doesn't leave much opportunity to run higher voltage to get higher power at, say, 4000-5000 RPM such as typically is done with 48-72V forklift motors. That'd put you up near 1000V battery which is undesirable as well as making a controller rare. Better pass on this.

Thanks Major,

I think its a compound motor, it has series and shunt windings. Interpole winding too
