College Project: 1989 CRX Conversion

Hey everyone, I'm part of a college engineering team that chose to convert a Honda CRX to a basic/beginner electric race/autocross car. Our goal is to show that even "homemade" EVs can be fun and can compete with established combustion engines (as I'm sure many of you know first hand!) Both myself and my team are fairly new to the EV world but we plan to put a lot of work and effort into our project and have a fun electric CRX when all is said and done.

I figured I'd introduce myself since I'll be hunting for parts and asking a few questions over the course of our project so please bear with me if I ask something stupid or obvious.
