I'm planning out my first conversion and I was looking at the Curtis 1239-8501 HPEVS AC-76 Brushless AC Motor Kit - 144 Volt on EV West's website and I noticed that the descriptions of the items said that the motor operates between 144V-170V and the controller has a max adjustable output voltage of 96V. The motor draws up to 500A and the controller can supply up to 650A so that's not a concern but will the discrepancy in voltage cause issues as far as motor performance?
