Hi need advise 🤔 I have a old forklift motor I need a Brushed DC speed controller for , a 45v RPM 1900 RTG 1/4HR winding COMP Electric motor, using 4x110AH 12v lead acid batteries ,

Also there's a picture of a speed controller I already have but can't get it to work for some reason

Would be grateful for any advice to point me in the right direction 👍

Not sure that is the controller you want. That may be a PermMag DC motor controller. What are you mounting this motor upon? Car, Bicycle, Golf Cart?

Hi it's going into a MK1 Nissan Micra ,direct drive to the crank ,so all I need is a speed controller for the motor , but getting nowhere at the moment :'(

What direction/advice are you looking for ? You need a motor controller capable of 200A if you want to get the maximum out of that motor.

So the Nissan Micra is a tiny car. Do you have the motor connected directly to the transmission? I’m assuming front wheel drive here. Kelly Controller has some decent offers you could use as does Curtis. Not sure anyone is supporting or even building Series Motor Controllers anymore. Hunt for a decent used one.
