Ok guys I have always considered my self an expert at motors. But I have a question, I see where the 9 inch motors are advanced for higher voltages like 120V and 144V. But what about an 11 inch fork lift motors? Like the hyster 325744 motor. Would the larger commutator and more com bars make the motor more resistant to arching than the smaller 9 inch motor?

Thanks!
More tolerant to commutation, I'd say yes, to some degree.
