This is awesome. I'm working on a Scout 800 conversion, but have a long way to go. Mine is also a cab-top, but with the original bed. We should have about the same aerodynamics and weight -- can you give more details about your battery pack and the kwh/mi you're seeing?

My battery pack is only 7.8 kwh total, I am seeing an average of 400 kwh per mile. +- 20 miles total range

My numbers were not correct, I am seeing more like 275 kwh per mile, I haven't weighed mine yet, but I would figure around 3000 lbs.

Those are watt-hours (Wh) per mile, not kilowatt-hours (kWh) per mile, of course.

It's my first build, and I like the fact that the batteries are all in one place. I'll probably just leave it the way it is and incorporate a "range extender" motor and see how much that helps my range.
