EV Battery Charger Variable Output Voltage either 120 or 240 VAC input Tests OK.

This was used for Corbin Sparrow voltages and can run on either 240 VAC or 120 VAC. I just had Manzanita go thru it, replace some parts and run it up to full power. I've run it on my bench and confirmed it works.

It was buiilt approx 2009 and has extremely little use at all. Exact Model # is PFXC20B. These are great units because can be controlled directly from a BMS and have excellent Power Factor. Rated for a solid 20 amps if fed with a 30 amp circuit.

Size is 16" x 9" x 5.5" and weighs 16 lbs without the cables. It currently has a heavy duty 120 VAC input plug and the standard Sparrow Anderson plug on the output.

I had it for my Sparrow but sold it last year. This was at the factory being refurbished, now it is back, updated and tested. Ready for a new home charging any sort of EV project up to 360 VDC. These are perfect for BMS controlled Lithium EV Packs but will work with other chemistries as well.

Website shows a list price of around $2,625 for a new one.

The PFC-20 is designed to charge any battery pack from 12 volts to 360 volts nominal (14.4 to 450 peak.) It is power factor corrected and designed for 30 amps in, 20 amps out.

One of the key features of this charger is it's ability to operate on any voltage from 60 to 240 volts AC at either 40 to 80 Hz. It also has a real time current adjustment knob which alllows you to squeeze the maximum amount of current from a variety of different circuits. To operate at full capacity, this charger needs a 30 Amp circuit.
