I love this forum and have become extremely interested in ev (motorcycle) but don't have much of an electrical background. What is a good resource for learning the basics of ev systems?

There are lots of components to EVs. I am currently studying Electric-Drive Engineering and a Text book we have is this.

also i'd read about battery types and BMS's. a good web site is http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/

then i'd read about the types of motors. Ie: Brushed, brushless, Induction, synchronous, etc...

that should get you going pretty well thats what helps me for classes
