I’m selling “El Ohmbre” my EV conversion. El Ohmbre is a 1985 Chevy S-10. I converted it using an Advanced DC motor and Nissan Leaf lithium ion modules. See the full parts list below. It is fully registered as a California EV so no smog is ever required. It’s a working/running vehicle, but there are still things to finish. I’ll even reluctantly include the OHMBRE California license plate.
Here are the specifications:
  • FB1-4001A Advanced DC Motor, dual shaft ( 72V – 144V)
  • 1231C-8601 Curtis Controller, heat sink, and fan
  • PB-6 Curtis Potbox

The car is fully assembled and running. I am happy to provide a lot more details to anyone interested.

I will include everything listed above. This is a total of more than $10,000 worth of parts not including the labor. The batteries alone are worth over $3,000. I’m asking $5,000 or best offer. I’m located in Los Angeles, CA, near LAX. Please DM me and I can provide more information. Or visit the website Electric Vehicle Conversion Project Named El Ohmbre and fill out the contact form.
