WOW, I wondered why that battery pack looked so familiar, I was at the
SUNCOAST EVA meeting (EAA) in St.Petersburg in Saturday, Sept. 4th and they
were displaying one of the packs of your cells they were installing in a
redone VW EV with twin Kistoff motors.(Rebirth Auto make some fine EV
conversions.) They do a GREAT motor Controler too as the HOME of EVnetics.
We had a great meeting as usual (I go as a Guest because my membership is
with the education chapter 60 miles away at E.V.T.I.-EVA where I am
Advisor.) and I know about everyone there. A Great Group and VERY
Knowledgeable with a BSEE and a BSME and a fantastic management team with an
MIT graduate, and an owner who invented the most popular solar swimming pool
heater (Well if I'm wrong it should be.) And really polite and friendly,
they are trying to restart the EV Beach Racing Weekend for next year too !
! !

Different contest. Jack said on his show last Friday that he was
adding a free RPM encoder that fits the Warp 9. He also said he has
had over 550 applications so far. I did not hear a mention of what
date the contest will end. I know he said they are still accepting
applications for their contest.

No it's unrelated.

At this point I can say we selected three winners, I've heard back from two and am waiting to get an acceptance from the third before I announce it. There will be something on our web page when this happens.
