[EVDL] [9Electric] first real trip

My conversion has been to the Salt Flats twice. The morning after I put on the
license plates I drove it to and displayed it at an alternate fueled vehicles
fair. While these events were great fun, and great places to promote EVs, there
was still something missing...

The next day I drove the 9Elctric to the auto parts store to get a part for my
gasser. It wasn't as thrilling as the other events. I didn't have people
clustered around asking questions or taking pictures. I wasn't trying to go as
fast as possible. I wasn't doing ground breaking high speed tow regen.

It was incredibly satisfying because it was my first "real" trip in my EV! It
was the first time I had electrically displaced exploding dinosaurs. I'm already
looking forward to the next 10,000 trips!

Hello David,

At these type of events, there are more electrical technician, engineers,
electro mechanics and people that are knowledgeable in this type of field
science that are interested in this type of science unlike a layperson.

Driving to auto parts or supermarkets since 1976, I may have less than a 100
people that came up to me and wanted to see how the EV is assembly, what
type of components and source of supply.

Roland
