From YouTube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=OpTVz_H5StM
which refers to this site: http://triplebatterylife.com/
and leads to eBay item:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170138786830
-- none of which have a very professional look to them.

Seems the "Tilley Technique" is getting pretty popular.

This "amazing" patent is right here:
http://www.google.com/patents?id=22wOAAAAEBAJ&printsec=abstract&zoom=4&dq=6,570,340#PPA8,M1
<http://www.google.com/patents?id=22wOAAAAEBAJ&printsec=abstract&zoom=4&dq=6,570,340#PPA8,M1>

The whole idea is that you take half-dead batts where Peukert's won't
allow them to discharge further, gang up several and switch the load
between them to lessen the average current each one sees. You could
probably put them in parallel for a similar result, but that's not the
patent.

It's not made-up crap like Tilley, it's real in a sense, just real crap.

If I were in Orlando, I might get a kick out of going to one of his
promised demonstrations just to take in the line of thinking for amusement.
