Have to thank Felix, and Cal Cars News (again), for turning us on to
this article on Toyota vs GM on Green Car Congress.

But it was a "Coment" made after the article which turned us on to:
AUTOLINE - Detroit, an on line video news program, From Michigan,
and this wonderful interview with GM's Bob Lutz, and Frank Weber, in
charge of E-Flex world wide.

But on this same page, at the bottom of the page,
there is an earlier program named
"Lithium Ion LIVE" which is NOT TO MISS.
On the Panel:
# David Vieau, President & CEO, A123 Systems
# Prabhakar Patil Ph. D., Chief Executive Officer, Compact Power
# Scott Lindholm, Vice President, Systems Engineering, Cobasys
# Ann Marie Sastry Ph. D., Professor, Materials Science and Engineering,
The University of

After that... Don't miss the Q-and-A from the audience at:

The devil's in the details. People are now estimating a puny 16-mile EV-only range and a leased battery pack with weekly installments.

----- Original Message ----After listening to Lutz I'm licking the egg off my face, the Volt will
be built after all. Not only that but GM has woken up Detroit and now,
all of a sudden, everybody will want to be friends with the cool
battery guys.
