At first I was just reading this IEEE blog with mild
interest for the processing power needed to make a
vehicle autonomous and the challenge to conform to
non-standard driving conditions (How would they fare
in Indian traffic, I wonder?) but then I suddenly
noticed the text:
"The compact vans are manufactured by Piaggio, better known for its
Vespa scooters. The vans are fully electric, and the researchers drive
them in the morning, recharge in the afternoon, drive some more, and
recharge again overnight."
Wow - this is a pair of *EVs* that are being driven from Italy through
Rusland and China!

-vehicle-driving-from-italy-to-china
Cool that the future of driving is actually taking place in an EV!
