Hi all, I received this battery e-mail this morning. Has anyone tried this,
or is this just the same-old-same-old not so miracle cure?

I don't get this kind of spam, but if I did, I'd delete it without reading
it. Spam is ... well ... spam.

At the risk of sounding narrow-minded, I'd have to say that the piece is
awfully long on hyperbole and awfully short on specifics and science. I
suggest you delete it and forget it.

Nobody has yet found a cure for worn-out batteries other than recycling
them.

BATEERY TESTING WITH EXTERNAL BATCURE FILLING

DATE: 20/08/07 Conducted By: Atul Gupta =


BATTERY DETAIL :

We selected a battery that was removed from our
electric scooter due to unserviceable condition. The
battery was lying in our store for more than 6 months
in discharge condition. =


BATTERY SPECIFICATION : VRLA SEALD 12 Volt/20AH
capacity. =


MANUFACTURER : www.ritarpower.com China. =


PROCEDURE: =


1. Battery terminal voltage before BATCURE filling V =3D
11.7 volt =


2. Then opened its top and filled 5 ml BATCURE in each
cell (total 6-cells) of battery, added 20-25 ml water
and ensured that the water was completely filled in
each cell.

3. after 3 days we put this battery in charging with
16V, 3A.

4. Voltage before charging. V =3D 9.12 V =


5. Then we charged that battery for 6:30 hours and
disconnect the power supply.

6. Then after 15 minutes of disconnecting the charging
battery terminal voltage =


V=3D 13.1V

7. Then after12 hours we checked the open terminal
voltage =3D 12.68V =


8. Then discharged the battery at 3A and calculated
the backup time till battery =


voltage reached at 10.5V. =


Back uptime =3D 4 hours 2 minutes =


9. Again we charged that battery and battery terminal
voltage with charging =


connected. V=3D 16.08

10. Battery open terminal voltage after 1 hr. V=3D
13.15V =


11. Then again we put it on discharging at 3A.and
calculated the battery back up time =


till battery voltage reaches at 10.5V

Back uptime =3D 6 hours 2 minutes =



12. Again we charged that and battery open terminal
voltage V=3D 13.2V =


13. Then again we put it on discharging at 3A.and
calculated the battery back up time =


till battery voltage reaches at 10.5V

Back uptime =3D 6 hours =


14. Now test is continued for another cycle.


In the 4th cycle we discharged a fully charged battery
with C20 rating, that is 1 ampere per hour.

Result: Back up time recorded was 21 hours.
