It will be very interesting to see if these
torquier motors are able to be improved somehow.
Also to see if they have cheaper controllers?
We will be looking forward to your tests!!!

Where can one buy a chinese motor? I ordered a kelly controller a CO-KD84600
on Aug 27th and still haven't got it as of september 30th. Though I heard it
might have been mailed on Sept. 13th from seller. Still waiting on
confirmation if it really was from kelly controller to seller and then to
me. I was expecting 6 weeks at the beginning. Will let you know how it
performs. It might be coming by registered postal mail from China.

I'm not sure why you are buying Chinese. Granted, most of these products are
less expensive, but there often is little or no quality control.

I give (for an example) my own purchase from a well known Chinese company, a
bike motor. This company shipped a mismatched motor and gear set. The hub
motor was threaded in metric and the gears were threaded to SAE. They could
no longer supply the gear set with matching gearing.

After a considerable time, they finally shipped a replacement motor.
Unfortunately, this was FOB China. The additional shipping charges brought
the motor cost to about what I could have purchased here. Had they not had
additional incentive (from the main supplier of their motors) otherwise, I
would have had to ship the original back, which would have made their motor
3 times the original purchase cost.

You should realize that this is a main difference in marketing between our
nations. Take the risk if the cost is enough less, but know that you are
(usually) on your own if something doesn't meet the specs originally given.
Many N American companies import... and make large profits according... from
Chinese companies. These are much the better company to deal with than
direct shipments.
