The 1962 Chevy used the same master cylinder for the PB as the standard.

The master cylinder was unbolted from the firewall and moved ahead, so the power booster could be installed.

This used 4 holes in the firewall.

The original pushrod was removed and discarded.

Then the master cyl was bolted to the booster.

The brake pedal had 2 holes, as the booster used a different hole, than the std brake.
