Dennis,
This is the first picture gallery I've seen of the
S10, nice job! It's really amazing how quick you've
increased your 1/4 mile times and I look for more
improvements. Only one negative comment, I think you
need a license plate that reflects your EV instead of
the standard issue. I don't have any suggestions at
this time, but I'm sure you can get a few from the EV
group.
Keep up the good work!
Rod
Here's a few to start off the ideas,
WattRuls
EVKing
EVDmNTr
EV8ICE
ICECRSHR
OK, I'm not real good at this, maybe we can get a few
more ideas?
Maybe you could just get one of Mike Chancey's
'electric vehicle' emblems for the back?
I think it's time to make some more 'Current
eliminator' T-shirts, the one you sent back in 1995 I
think? has some holes, but I still wear it. I'll
throw out a $20 for a new one. Maybe Chip could come
up with a cool one showing the Killacycle, Current
Eliminator and the White Zombie all on one shirt?

further

There is still more to extract with the hawkers but you are right this could
be a rocket with hi power batteries. I built the cage to NHRAs 8.50 spec. with
the idea of going that fast someday. I hope I can make this the 1st street
vech. in single digit in the qt. mi.

hehe you'll need something drastic to go below 10 I think. but why not.
maybe an extra motor for front wheel drive and some lithiums

If I remember correctly Dennis has a long version (about twice as long) of
the truck motor up on a shelf that I saw about a year ago when I was there.
How about it Dennis are you doing something with it you are not telling us
about?

Jim

up to get the truck on the street and track.I do however have a different
motor on the build bench now!!!

I have seen a lot of the higher voltage cars have the typical NHRA
required disconnect switch on the back.
On a normal ICE Drag car, this is a 12 or 24 volt rated disconnect.
I was curious what the Dennis Berube, Shawn Lawless, John Wayland cars
were using with their 300V + systems.

Thanks;
Dennis

I have a simple push off switch on the back of the truck for nhra that turns
off the dc to dc.Pulling it back on will not re energise the truck. The dc to
dc sends power to the zillas hairball which closes a relay that closes 3 sp
contactors.I suppose 1 or 2 contactors could stick but not 3. Trying to be
Safe. Dennis Berube
