Hi all,
Here's something which may be of interest to people still stuck using
0-5Kohm resistive potboxes!
For some conversions we're doing at EV Works, we chose controllers
which (unfortunately) only support resistive throttle inputs, but we
wanted to use the factory hall effect accelerator pedal to drive them.
So here's some information about a device I designed to interface the
two, based around a digital potentiometer:
http://www.evworks.com.au/tech/DigitalPotAdapter/
There's also a download link at the end for the schematic/PCB files
and AVR project for the microcontroller code.
Kind regards,
Ian Hooper
