One of a kind. This is a Volkswagen Kit car converted from gas to electric. It is a copy of the McLaren Gt Race Car, called a Manta Montage. I purchased it for $10000 in 2000. It won a rally in Seattle for the most miles covered before running out of power. So what is wrong with it: It needs some work to get it up and running. I replaced all the batteries and wiring about 3 years ago but never charged them, so they may still may be good. If the batteries need replacing it would cost around $1200 (at $60 per battery). Car runs very low to the ground and needs to lifted. Both driver's side and passenger's windows need to be replaced. Interior of car could be upgraded. Rear brakes need replacing. Car could go faster and possibly farther if a 5 speed transmission was installed. To see and purchase in Pleasant Hill call 435-655-1082. Why haven't I fixed it... I have been too ill .[...]
