An EVDL subscriber posted a note today saying that he had trouble signing
off the list when following the directions on the FAQ page.

I realized that he wasn't using the help page at evdl.org. Rather, he was
reading the directions for the old list from a FAQ on another website.

We changed to Mailman 5 months ago, and the procedures are all different
now. I sent the subscriber to the right webpage for the right information.
All is well now (I hope).

So, here's the point.

Regrettably, there are some pages on the web with old, outdated, incorrect
information about the EVDL. That includes the steps for subscribing and
unsubscribing, and whom to contact for help.

Not that I want to sound like some kind of control freak, but if you have
such a page under your control, would you please consider modifying it to
remove the obsolete information, and simply link to the official EVDL
information page instead?

I guarantee that as long as I'm alive and kickin' I'll keep that page up to
date.

The official EVDL information page is :

http://www.evdl.org/

Thanks for considering this request.
