Is the new list server supposed to automatically put "[EVDL]" in the
subject of each message that is sent to the list? It seems like there
are still a few messages being posted without it including all the
messages that I post??

I have been addressing messages to: [email protected]

Another question is; it takes forever for mail to arrive back whenever
I start a new topic. When replying it seems normal.

For instance; I emailed a message last night and it still has not arrived????

Is there something I am doing wrong?

I wonder how long it will take this message to arrive...

Thanks,

I've noticed that a lot of postings get shifted into
my bulk/spam folder in YAHOO for some reason. In order
to not miss postings, I have to add that particular
person's email to my address book. I've also
received messages from various dates, and have to
search my email for all UNREAD messages to find them
all, rather than page through old messages to finally
get to the ones that were actually days old, yet just
arrived.

Maybe, email and the internet are just getting so
clogged, with spam, that we're just going to have to
live with these delays/problems.

Between hitting 'send' and seeing my latest post in the archives took
less than 5 seconds, so the 'mailman' system is working pretty fast
internally. I only read email online (keeps down mail traffic), so
it's possible to see posts before they even end up in listees' inboxes.

I have not seen any messages cross without the EVDL flag. If you see any,
you may forward them to my private admin address for analysis.

Note - do not reply to this message offlist, as messages sent to this
address ([email protected]) are routed to the bit bucket. Get my EVDL admin
address from this page :

I haven't had any problems with this. You may have to whitelist the list's
addresses ([email protected] and [email protected]) to ensure that
EVDL messages don't end up in your bulk mail folder.

Thanks.
