Hello all,
I am disappointed to have to let everyone know that the required insurance
coverage for assuming a loan of Roger Hedlund's "Battery Box" could not be
found. I will be unable to bring the car out to the Salt Flats this year.
Its a long story one which goes back over a year. The long and short of it
is NEDRA needs to have insurance in its own name to be able to cover events
as well as property. I tried several options from the EAA EVent coverage,
my own personal insurance company, two others they recommended and finally
the company the National Auto Museum uses.
This will certainly something I will be able to work of in the coming year
and hope to get NEDRA on a more firm footing as its own 501(c)(3)
organization.
Again my appologies. If you were planning to go out to Bonnville I am still
sure you won't be disappointed with all the electrics that will be
attending.
