IMHO there are a lot of new start up companys out there and they all seem to getting a lot of money to do what??? who knows, but its all about EVs and batterys. You can go to places and see whats going on with the money washiongton is giving away and how much they got, BUT !!! have we ever seen anything they make??? I havent. Tesla the only one that comes to mind.

But where are all these new batteries we hear about and companys are getting millions of dollars to design,,IMHO its all a scam, Oh they have a building and a few people in there sweeping the floor ,,,but where is the product??? With all the BS they claim we should be able to drive to Saturn and back on a single charge..but they always seem to the just a few months away from selling them to the public, then a design change puts it back farther, and again and again. A SCAM plain and simple.

Its simple enough to find where a person that claims to be the CEO of this brand new company is,, you use the e-mail address to show that its a house on some dead end street, and the building they use is just a stock photo with there logo photo shopped on the front. simple trick to do...again where are the so called wonder products that we all hear about..for get about the guy that knows a guy that seen it at night one time,,and has a just out of focus photo of it .......These clowns cant sell me anything till I see rubber on the road. no data, that can all be forged, I want to see a SOMETHING driving down the road. AND they should NOT GET ANY of my tax money to play there bull shit game . let them design it on their own like a few of us here had to do to build EVs

It's true that the EV world has had its share of scams for as long as I can
remember, but it's also had plenty of earnest, well meaning operations that
have a genuine desire to advance the technology (and to be where future
sales lie). I don't think it's fair or appropriate to paint these guys with
such a broad brush.

Some of these projects will produce immediate results, some will produce
results years down the road, some will never produce results. That's how
R&D works, that's how we make progress. The lithium batteries going into
EVs today are based on R&D work done over 20 years ago.

There are plenty of politicians and pundits who pound their fists and roar
that we should deny everyone funding because some of the projects don't work
out, but that's because they don't understand how research works. Don't
listen to them.
