My impressions were all POSITIVE. Power, Handling, Regen, Fit and
Finish... The only thing I did not care for was the center console in
WHITE.. Really ODD. The Dark Gray was much more appealing...
My ride was long, and up to near 60 mph at one point, the batteries
were down so the gas gen DID kick in. Hardly noticeable... GOOD.
Asked about Oil Changes on the 1.4 ltr ICE. Not determined yet, and
also the GM guy said they might require gas treatment, or replacement at
intervals for folks never going over battery range, month in and month
out. Also he did not comment on the MPG figures in a LONG Gen. mode.
Recent Revelations of the TRUE nature of this Hybrid do not bother me,
except for all the months they called it a Pure Electric with Range
extension... Around 30+ mpg on long trips is not as good as a Prius,
but who CARES.. Most of our trips are UNDER 40 miles a day... so at the
end of the day.... NO The END of the YEAR, I must conclude that
Everyone will have averaged LESS liquid Fuel Usage than your Prius...
Here is a short YouTube, of what is believed to be the FIRST Public
Level - 2 Charging Station in Washington State, where we demonstrated
plugging in a Prius AND a VOLT, and then TWO Volts ! One on 110 and the
other on 240 J1772 !

CHEV VOLT Team, for arranging the After VOLT EV-ent N.E. of Seattle that
evening... All 4 VOLT's and the GM folks attended !!
