The EV world has lost one of its lynchpins. George Gless, founder and for
25 years newsletter editor of the DEVC (Denver Electric Vehicle Council),
died on the 6th of February in Fort Collins. He had turned 94 on the 15th
of January.

For me, George's outstanding newsletter was a reason to be a DEVC member
even though I was way across the country in Ohio. I never attended a single
meeting, but I did speak with George on the telephone several times and had
a chance to meet him about a dozen years ago when I was out in CO on
business. He was a knowledgable fellow and most generous with his
knowledge. He certainly did a great deal for the EV community.
