[EVDL List]

Interesting, on my site http://www.explodingdinosaurs.com and on http://www.evalbum.com I saw this ad pop up three places:

Honda EV PlusMeet the Honda EV Plus battery electric vehicle. See what we see.
www.honda.com

You have to use the search function on honda.com to find anything, and the first item that comes up says the vehicle is no longer produced, but would you be interested in one of the gasoline cars.

Maybe they are just out of date on their Google Ads account? Maybe trying to leverage past glory for current sales? The good news is a "battery electric vehicle" ad popped up instead of a hybrid ad, but too bad it is for a vehicle that hasn't been available for years.

The EV plus was not a bad looking car but it commits the usual sin of EVs by putting on tiny golf-cart sized wheels on it. I think 14" should be the minimum size on any car intended for the mass market, period. I don't care how small the rest of the body gets. Go any smaller and people treat it like a toy. I do think the Chevy Volt's wheels are grotesquely oversized, though.

Ah, excuse me, they are 14". 195/65R14 The EVplus was pretty much
made out of the Honda parts bin so those were probably the standard
Civic size that year.

The slightly awkward body style (extra height for the under floor
mounted batteries give the impression of really small wheels. The
wheels aren't smaller, the lower body line is higher than it appears.

When/If the Chevy Volt ever reaches the market I suspect it will look
very little like the concept car.
