Hi All,
I'm wondering if I need to cool my Warp 9 during "normal" use. The motor gets warm to the touch when it is just air cooled. However, after enclosing the underneath area of my car to waterproof it, the motor gets too hot to keep my hand on (yeah, scientific.). I'm going to get a cheap laser thermometer to find out what the temperatures are, but I was wondering if "too hot to touch" is normal for the 9" motors under normal load. After I get the thermometer, I can find out actual temperatures, but I want to known what "normal" operating temperatures are.
I'm currently looking into blower cooling options (see my notes at: http://www.corbinstreehouse.com/blog/2011/02/plug-bug-motor-cooling-ideas-and-notes/ )
