Wow, Ian has switched over to hybrid development
since I last heard from him, though he still
features the X1 prototype that he gave several
EAA members rides in Palo Alto and he almost
catapulted me out of the bucket seat by first
accelerating with more than 1G, making a few
miles shrink to seem like a drive around the
parking lot and ending the trip with a quick
(regen assisted) brake stand which almost sent me flying
while I held on for dear life.
Maybe I should have buckled after all...

Thanks, Steve,
There were some awesome details in those videos. I especially liked the
statement from Johnny Alonso at the end of the second video.
The "Stone Age" didn't end because they ran out of Stones! It ended
because they started using their Brains !

Regards,
Dennis Miles

I remember hearing somewhere in an interview that Ian always wanted to
attack the fuel usage of trucks, he cited using his
Ford dually hauling logs ...

Great news.
