I have been working on a 914 conversion at Electric thrust for the
last 2 weeks with a car show in mind for it and some other EV's that
the people at Electricthrust have been doing . We have been having a
blast here , and the car show looming in the near futurer has just
added to the fun with the " get her done " mixed with the "who can do
the nicest work" and having a nice place to work in with a great bunch
of guys .. Still thing happen , and the day before the car show I
still don't have the 914 done when I get the word that they are going
to let us do a burn out at the show with the 914 if I think it will do
it . In the 15 years I've been doing EV's I've never had any one give
an OK for this kind of stuff at a car show . Wish I had got here a
few day earlier , wish I had worked late a few more night, wish wish
wish ,. Well its the night before the show maybe 10 11 pm and the
first test ride.. NOT GOOD . The car goes then cuts off , goes and cut
off ,,, why ,, what could it be , loos wire , bad contactor , a check
and nothing shows up , 1.30 am and I go to bed hart broken . I've
known Mr D for 3 years now and he has a lot of faith in me, I hate
letting him down , he's got his on project that he and his team have
been racing to get done but he's out there with me at 1:30 am telling
me I'll figure it out , don't worry ,,, Just the day before we where
having a friendly competition to see who would get there car rolling

was not being felt , instead I went to bed not knowing what was wrong
