King Solomon once said "there is nothing new under the sun". I have just sold a vintage Briggs & Stratton 16hp stationary engine. It was fitted to a Fowler Rex kerbing machine c.40 yrs ago. It had an electric start which consisted of a Delco Remy generator similar to 1950's Chevs. It had a regulator which allowed the geny to act as a starter through the fan belt. All hail GM's new technology.
