So I have an old RF80-GT Nicd battery conditioner. Old, but interesting.
And I really need to condition/load test these 30 Hawker 26ah GP
batteries that have been sitting in the driveway for 2 years.

Big question is does anyone know where to get the battery cables that go
into the side or a pinout description so I can bypass it's interlocks? I
can probably figure it out but I would not mind getting or paying for
the official manuals.

Oddly enough I think these batteries are still "good" in that the first
one I grabbed had a 12.4 resting voltage dropping to 9.5v under a 100a
load test at 20 degrees F. Charging it overnight at 1.5a gave it 30
minutes of runtime with a 20a load before dropping to 10.6v. I put it on
the 30a charger then the 100a charger and watched it suck 80a for 10
minutes before hitting 15v. I then dialed it down to 50a then 15 and it
was sitting at [email protected] a battery temp of about 30 degrees. By
comparison the control UB12-260 just stinks) So I would like to cycle
test them and put them *back* into my Prizm in the spring.

Thanks!
Chris

Wait now. You have a >NiCd< battery conditioner, and you want to use it on
some >lead< batteries. I think you need more than a manual!
