How about "Spillin-Bill-in"
or "Bill-in-Spill-in"

Oh... by the way, Seems I remember another incident with a high powered
2 wheeler. Wasn't it Woodburn Portland, late at night in the Motel
Parking Lot. Some one gave him a scooter on steroids, and when he hit
the throttle too hard, went over back wards.. Was that Bill ?? or
Dennis B. Cant Remember.

I had a turn at the same scooter, but LEEEeeeanned WAY forward as I hit
the throttle... I think Roy LeMeur had something to do with it...

Glad your OK Bill.....

Yep, that was like 5 years ago Steve.

It was a hot-rodded Badsey HotScoot.

Where Bill was tossed was right after drive belt replacement and a hot
battery charge with FT's variac and Bill was the first to try it. This was
at the Wayland Juice Bar the day before Woodburn in '02.

IIRC, Bill tore up his pants and got a little road rash. Those darned Curtii
always come out of current limit when you least expect it :-0

Steven and All,
I was just thinking about this incident, and as I recall it was in the Wayland 'hood. Wild Bill took off on the "scooter-from-hell", and at the end of the block took a digger and ripped a hole in the knee of his jeans! The motel featured the "go-kart-from-hell". Who was it that drove the kart through the McDonald's drive-up next to the motel?

What year did the IEEE change the name from
"Kilocycle" to "Kilohertz"? Maybe rename the bike to
"Killa-Hurts"?

Just to prove that you can find anything in
Wikipedia<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia>
:

The hertz is named after the German
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germany>physicist Heinrich
Rudolf Hertz <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_Rudolf_Hertz>, who made
important scientific contributions to
electromagnetism<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetism>.
The name was established by the
IEC<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Electrotechnical_Commission>=
in
1930 <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1930>.[1]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K=
ilohertz#_note-0>It
was adopted by the
CGPM <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CGPM> (*Conf=E9rence g=E9n=E9rale des po=
ids et
mesures*) in 1960, replacing the previous name for the unit, *cycles per
second* (cps), along with its related multiples, primarily *kilocycles per
second* (kc/s) and *megacycles per second* (Mc/s). The term *cycles per
second* was largely replaced by *hertz* by the 1970s.

Don't have a nickname, just a thought:

Bill tried to light up the KillaCycle,
and the KillaCycle lit up a Dube'.

Don't remember what Father Time ran into when German TV was filming
him, but it was some heavy American steel...
