Greetings,

Researching parts sources here for my 83 VW Rabbit conversion
project. I've heard directly and indirectly that Electro Automotive has
issues with delivery schedules. Can anyone provide a reference to
service, delivery, support, etc., about KTA Services? It seems that
they are the only other source of adapter plate kits for my rabbit, so I
thought I'd see how many happy (or unhappy) customers we have here.

tnx much,
john - colorado springs, co

I'm extremely happy with KTA. In fact, most of us here on the list are. However, they no longer serve individuals. Their website has not changed to reflect that.

Thanks much,

I guess that makes my question quite moot. KTA provides good service,
but not direct to individuals. Electro Automotive provides service to
individuals, but not timely. I do have a neighbor that runs a machine
shop - I bet he could help with the adapter. As for the battery boxes,
I can design those my self and provide detailed instructions to a local
welding shop. Interesting times, ain't it?!!!

thanks,
john

John,

Let me know if you are near San Jose and want someone to
help fabricate battery boxes or other sheet metal.
I have a friend that made my battery boxes, he would be
willing to do more such work.
