I just loaded my Electric F250 onto my trailer to take it to a show.
(just a bit too far, sigh.)
I'm actually just trailering it down to near the ferry (17 miles) so
that I have enough charge to get to the show. It's WAY too expensive to
take the trailer across the ferry!
It was interesting putting it in 4wd, low, 1st gear and driving up the
ramps onto the trailer. No noise, and it just walked on up with no
hesitation. Moved so slowly that I wasn't sure when I hit the end wall
of the trailer - until the rear wheels started screeching. Good thing
it's a STURDY trailer. (Of course, it had better be with an 8000 lb
truck on it!)

I have to ask: What do you use to tow a trailer with an 8000 pound truck on
it? That is probably topping out at 11,000 pounds total. Another 1 ton
truck?

Nearly any 1 ton truck or properly equipped 3/4 ton, including suburban or
excursion; the latter two have some versions rated up to 12,000 lbs.
Airbags and eq bars are your friends.

The part I'm wondering: Why tow it 17 miles? (rereading) oh, I guess the
show is "range" + 17 miles away.

If it's dark, you can start them both up and listen for the quiet one! :^)

Just kidding, good luck with the show. Let us know when you have more
pictures of the truck. I guess a picture of the whole rig, trailer and
trucks, would be interesting.
