[EVDL] Russco SC50 Charger Beta Test EV Owners Wanted

879 Views 4 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  EVDL List
Russco Engineering, manufacturer of EV chargers since 1997, is pleased to
introduce the newest model charger, the SC50. The SC50 charges battery
packs of 72-180 volts @ 25 amps and operates from 240 VAC. The model SC50
looks like the typical Russco charger: Red and boxy with user adjustable
current and voltage adjustments. One charger fits all packs with no
buck/boost transformer required.

I am looking for owners of currently operating EV's that would like to
purchase a Russco SC50 and report to Russco on the operation of the
charger. A limited quantity of SC50's will be available for Holiday
purchase under the beta test program. Purchasers will receive $150 off
the SC50 price and get free UPS shipping. Purchasers with access to J1772
Level 2 charging are encouraged to apply.

A 120 VAC adapter may be available for SC50 operation from 120 VAC. if
there is sufficient demand.

For more information on the Russco SC50 charger, see:

The supplied six foot cord with the green and black pigtails is for the
customer connection to 240 VAC. The type of plug the customer desires may
be connected to this cord. I do not supply AC plugs. Other on-line
suppliers may supply straight, twist lock and J1772 plugs.
