Subject: [EVDL] The Detalidon Commuter EV Chasis Design
Hi fellow EV enthusiasts,
I have a design I've released to the public for a EV Commuter vehicle =
chassis. IT is setup for one or two occupants. By Released, I mean it is in =
a draft form (v1.1) with all dimensions explicit or implied. I have also =
build a prototype project in the past which is also described there.
It is specifically optimised for supporting many body styles, with a few =
limitations. It is a 3wheeler so you can qualify it as a Motorcycle and use =
the diamond lane and obtain licencing with less effort.
It will support a variety of batteries and motors with simple changes. This =
is an extremely light aluminum chassis using proven aircraft construction =
methods. Similar uses of the methods have been made at the Vehicle Research =
Institiute, WWU, where I learned to do this kind of thing.
I have gotten good feedback on the desing and so I hope you can use it to =
make your own plans and projects better.
Find it from www.Detalidon.com or from the design forum at =
