[EVDL] Viable Pricing

Looking at the last few days of messages, I've have to followup with a similar question.

What is considered a good OEM price these days for a Li - EV battery?

I got a hint from what may be a new OEM for EV batteries, one I've been bugging for a while now. The hint was based on a new battery as;

Nominal Voltage 60 v
Nominal Capacity 10400 mAh
Weight 4000 g
Size$B!'(B 320*200*75 mm
Cells 3.85v
(calculates to 624Wh, 150wh/kg, 75wh/lb)

And the price I could get as a researcher was under $400 (un-commited yet, that's the hint I guess).
So that puts a 10kwh pack at about $5k, weight at about 68kg, 137lbs, did I calc that about right? Volume? oh, 17 of those units.

So is that worth my 'getting in the mud' with these guys, or should I wait for newer products in the works? Can I get a better R&D price elsewhere?

The AltairNano look like a -dash for the cash- B2B deal so I'm not impressed there.

Trying to get a more firm price. These come in extruded aluminum hard cases, with cell montioring circuits and such. Don't think an actual BMS is included, unless the monitoring circuit does some leveling functioning.
