I sure wish I could be there, but it's a little far
from Colorado! Have fun, and I hope you don't find
the limits of your new EV...

If you ever find your way to Colorado, be sure to look
up some of the locals.

I'm curious, what NEDRA class does that vehicle race in? I ask
because I can't find any class that looks like it would fit a kit car
that is not a replica of a production vehicle.

John and all
Barona is only a 1/8 th mi strip but it is NHRA
approved and racers qualify for NHRA class points?(not
sure how it works but the track master was telling the
drivers that they could qualify to go to the Winter
Nationals at Pamona) anyway Michael got in five runs
the best being a 7.91. he needs lots of practice and
the car needs much tweaking but he was blowing away
the blown hemis with 12 in slicks to the point that
his last two runs no one wants to run with him and get
embarrassed by an electric. I may have to become a
taunter to get him any heads up races. He hasn't even
turned it up yet still running at 1400 motor amps and
less than full pack voltage. so there is still lots
to go. the speed channel was there and spent lots of
their time with Michael so look for something when
they do their electric veh show with WZ, Killacycle,
and orange juice. this looks like the year of the
electrics so any of you who are inclined toward racing
should take advantage of it.
