Hi

Can anyone recommend a Milling shop in the UK or where I can purchase an adaptor plate? I will be using a HPEVS motor currently struggling to find files and digital drawings online. Any help will be appreciated.

I have some documentation about my process of designing and making an adaptor plate for a Fiat 500. I would recommend checking your engine and compare, the basic design may be identical Electric Vehicle Kitchen
The motor that you have selected for your conversion, the Motenergy ME1507. How is this in real-life test with all in the vehicle weight? Maybe with passengers what real-life range/acceleration have you managed to achieve. Thanks

I will be mounting the motor in the next month I hope.
As my donor vehicle is a Fiat 500 from the 1960' this is a very small car. It weights about 500Kg. The original ICE runs at max 4600 RPM. The ME1507 could run at 8000 RPM max, but constrained 5000 via settings as I don't want the transmission go in pieces.
I will post updates on the blog as the project progresses. Current posts about the motor and engine are here fyi

BTW the underlying philosophy of the project is not about skid marks nor the feeling of power of speed, It's a learning journey to demonstrate that we can preserve an iconic piece of design and make it environmentally friendly with a limited budget.
