How much would you want for just the motor? Are the brushes still good, or need replaced?

The car's been converted. Why do you want to pick it apart? That should be a last, not a first, resort, given the number of people looking for a conversion these days and the number of hours someone put into it.

OP - some newbie was looking at a "wedge-E" Corolla...maybe hit him up and others in the Intro section before letting the vultures pick at the carcass.

I knew some would be interested in the parts and hoping to at least set the stage that I'd rather sell it all together. At the moment, some folks have contacted me about the whole vehicle, so hold tight on parts.

I've got nothing against your post, thanks for offering it instead of scrapping! The OpenRevolt is a fine controller, just down on power and safety features these days.

One safety feature it's lacking that I'm aware of is that it does not control the main contactor. Thus, if the controller is failed shorted or something else is shorting across the controller, the motor will get full voltage when the main contactor closes. A safer system would have the controller close that contactor after it detects the precharge is complete and disable closing it if a short is detected.

My workaround was to wire up the pack voltmeter after the precharge resistor so that I could watch for a successful precharge. Not fool proof though.
