i would make a voltage divider. Google it. my 2 cents.
Yes and while accelerating. It gives you an indication of what is happening and you learn a bit more about how it all works. Now when do i check my volts? while driving, right after driving, while cruising?
hey, im converting a car at 72v nominal, i have the battery set up as 2 72v batteries one under the hood, and one under the trunk( each 72v is 6 batteries in series)
and i have this curtis 48v " fuel guage" that i would like to put in the dashboard. would it be accurate enough if i put it reading on 4 batteries in series out of the whole 12 batteries?
thanks
I did this with my ESCORTEV - connected the 48 volt gauge to the 4 batteries in the "middle" of the pack - it works perfectly and has never let me down. Ken.
