Mike and Shari at Electro I think may have the record for doing this the longest http://www.electroauto.com/ They offer full DC or AC kits for VW Rabbits, Porsche 914s, Chevy Sprint/Metros , Chevy S10s and also universal kits. They have a big database of patterns built up so they can custom machine an motor adapter for many vehicles without even needing your transmission. I bought their deluxe universal kit from them.
