Hi!
I decided to convert a Harley Davidson Street-rod to electric. I have converted a Cagiva Mito 125cc to electric some years ago and felt that I wanted to do it again. This time with higher spec and budget :)

Here is a picture of the bike before work started.

Components that I have so far:

Motor: HPEV AC-20
Controller: Curtis 1239 - 144v & 500A
Battery: 3 units from a Kia Soul. Total: 42cells x 75Ah = 11.5 kWh.
Picture shows one battery unit.

Here are two pictures of the work so far. Most parts have been ordered and expected do be done in 3-5 weeks.
Most stuff is made from aluminium that will be painted or anodized (?).

The pulleys had to custom made due to wrong gearing with the original ones...
I will use HTD8, 30mm wide belt. Pulleys will be 32t and 144t.

The frame is 3d-scaned.

Now some parts starting to arrive from suppliers :)
Most parts that are made from aluminium plate.

* Left motor bracket
* Large battery box
* Small battery box
* Bracket underneath battery that also will fit the Curtis controller

Was a little nerves that there would be a difference in scale between reality and the 3d-scanned frame that i have. But it seems perfect so far.
