I was pondering my wish list for my next conversion, and it occurred to me that there's no reason you couldn't maintain cruise control in an EV. After examining the CC system in my current vehicle, I don't think it'd be that difficult. The cable coming from the CC servo just attaches to the same point as the accelerator cable. As long as your ECU still has inputs for speed and tach, why wouldn't it operate as before?

There are roads even in the city where I'll use my CC for a couple of miles at a time, and it would be nice to retain that feature in any future EV project. So has anyone done this? Does anyone see any problems with implementation?
